I'm beginning to come around to these single line gliders! The Megaplutz looks like a Battle Cruiser from Star Wars in the way it glides around. Very hard not to watch it.
IF you were going to make up those rod types I wouldn't be pulling any ferrules out! Get a set of regular rods and glue some ferrules in. Those ferrules are hard to get out, if you want them out.
Never taken mine in a plane.... but, Check your kite stake, check with airline if line set has to be checked also as some require yoyo strings to be checked. The is a thread here somewhere that has some tips also.
Ah crap.
I originally thought I was leaving on the 15th and planned to do the drawing the day I left... TK corrected me on the travel date, but I never made the other mental adjustment.
Total error on my part!
What do y'all think is fair in this case?
Kymeras for everyone.... I think it's fair for you to enjoy your trip and not give it a 2nd thought.
Revive an old topic.
On the odd occasion my wife takes the 2 oldest (7 & 5) shopping and I stay at home with our little toddler (19 months), I put her in her high chair at the front porch and entertain her with my Rev on short lines. She LOVES it. My wife thinks I'm crazy!
I'd give up this and all future drawing to meet up with JB and "the crew" next weekend. I'll get to a kite festival one day. Who knows, with all the different kites I want to get, I might be able to have my own! With my buddy WA of course.
Psst.
