I started my son out on a small two line foil, they are relatively cheap and almost indestructible. They can be crashed into the ground over and over. Sent from my IPhone

We need to meet up so you can try one of the quads that I have just so you see how they fly. One afternoon together and if your willing I’ll have you controlling one quite well. Stops, reverse flight and side slides are easy when shown the right technique. We could meet around Denver or whenever pretty much works for me as long as it’s not snowing. Sent from my IPhone

First day trying indoor duel line flying was a blast. Watched the tutorial videos several times and picked up a lot of techniques that made flying indoors easier. Learned several launch [emoji573] procedures that were fun to work on. I saw a huge amount of improvement in myself and my son Jack, although he spent most of his time on the indoor rev. With JB’s tutorials anyone can with a little practice fly the Kaiju. For the price I don’t think you can beat it for indoor flying. Sent from my IPhone

That would be awesome to watch for sure. I’ve noticed I do more damage to my sails and spars on 30’s. Just part of the learning curve I guess. Usually I fly the mid vent on 30’s and it’s is definitely showing signs of ware. It needs to be sent of to JB before he quits doing mods to them. Sent from my IPhone

I got to say I love 50# line with my SUL duel line Kites. I have 50’ 60’ 80’ and 100’ sets. Almost every time I fly the PDSUL it’s with the 100’ 50# lines. Very little drag with a large wind window. I enjoy the 50 and 60 footers practicing tricks with either the UL Solus or the SUL ATM. The walk of shame is much easier at 50’ vs 100’ and it’s much easier to see wraps on a wing and untangle it to ground launch without walking. Maybe I need a set of 30’ lines hmm [emoji848]. I already know I’m making a set of 7’ lines for the new kaiju. Can’t wait to try that kite out. Sent from my IPhone

Flew the spider rx in 15 gusting to 30 plus today. What a blast. This would be an easy kite to turn into a Vickie and it’s readily available. Tighten up the bungees and get rid of the reflex part, I don’t think it’s doing much in winds over 15 anyways.

I buy 300 yard or 1000 ft spools of string and 20 feet of white sleeving and 20 feet of black sleeving material and make them from scratch. Buy the sleeving tool and it’s fairly easy from there. I made my own sleeving tool and struggled with it for a while until I broke dawn and spent the $4 for a nice one. I cut the sleeving at 16 inches and that seems to well for me. Roughly $125 and you can make several sets of strings and will have the tool to make broken strings into shorter ones easily. Sent from my IPhone

Riff only one I’ve flow is the Supersonic. Way different beast but flys in reverse quite well. ? About the ABS I’ll have to get it out and look at it. Ok looked online and it’s not vented at the leading edge either. It flys very well in reverse. Sent from my IPhone

I flew Paul Dugards at WSIKF in fairly light wind and was amazed at how well it handled. I do have a SLE that I could cut up into one I guess. I like keeping it for new quad flyers to try since the B-series are now irreplaceable. I do have a Spyder vent for high winds but definitely like the look of the Vickie. Sent from my IPhone
