Jack and I learned more from JB in one weekend than 30 years of flying for myself. He and all the “kite people” I’ve met are easy going. JB was a 0 or extremely low maintenance house guest. We spent hours talking at night and even flew indoors one night well past midnight. The day I had to take him to the airport he was missing. I looked around the house and garage and was unable to find him. I went outside in the front yard and he was flying a quad out in the street. No matter what level you are at I guarantee you will gain more info in tree days with him than any other time in your flying career. Sent from my IPhone

I’m glad you have been able to fly a lot, not much wind at all so far this year in Western Colorado. I ho back to working days next week so life will be getting back to “normal “ lol. For lines I but 1000 ft spoils of 50lb and 90lb and make them myself. I have saved a lot of money and if I want a 27 foot set I just make it. I need to come to the front range and get you hooked on quad line Kites too. It’s only money and we can’t take it with us when we pass on. Sent from my IPhone

I lost one out of the little pocket on the end of the kite bag. Now I have a few extra just in case I loose another. I store them in the leading edge hole for the top spreader now when I roll up the kite. Sent from my IPhone

Ok so what do you think about the PD. I usually don’t fly mine above 5 mph we have better suited Kites for heavier winds. here is my son with a PDSUL in almost no wind on 20 foot lines.

Ya bridle upside down definitely more of an issue than my lines being that far off. I knew I had an issue when the kite was banking to the left hard. Sent from my IPhone

Had a great time with the Zephyr today. Winds 2 to 15 constantly changing. I’m just learning to do tricks and this kite loves to do 1/2 axles and axles, it basically auto completes them. Stalls very easy in light wind and is easy to get off the ground instead of doing the walk of shame. I started out with 50 foot 50 lb strings and had a blast in light wind. As the wind picked up I put the lines it came with on it and all it wanted to do was turn left. No I didn’t check the lengths first. New lines they have to be pretty close right. Wrong the red one was almost 6 inches longer than the blue. I’m thinking I will learn a lot with this kite in the future. It’s time for a private lesson with JB to help speed up my slack line trick skills, maybe after I move to the Oregon coast this summer. Sent from my IPhone
