  1. I feel your pain. for 2 yeas, I was the only rev flier in the nearest 5 counties. Now, there are a couple people new to revs that I can play with every once in a while.
  2. I don't think they a have a purple 1.5, but you can alwayse custom order from rev.
  3. Oh! Oh!, I just thought of an other one that I like! Thread through! where everyone lines up and someone threads through all of them. Its soo cool, but soo bad when someone messes up!
  4. You could bring both lines to the center, the left line faces right, and the right line faces left, pass through, and go out to the sides.
  5. Okay, how about this. There are two vertical lines. The left line is higher in elevation, facing down. The right line is lower facing up. both lines go forward until just after they meet. Still facing the same directions, the slide and pass through, then continue moving forward. They stop, do a 360, then repeat.
  6. I love to see and do the blender. It's a little tough, but it is COOL!!!!! I've already thought of a move that I've never seen before. I call it whirlpool. With 4 people, I they would get in a vertical line with evens facing left and odds facing right. every time the leader says "go", numbers 2 & 3 would tip pivit around each other 90 degrees, counter clockways. At the same time, numbers 1 & 4 would go in a circle just outside of numbers 2 & 3 moving 90 degrees clockways each time. This could be done with anywhere from 3 to 10 people. (It would be tough to coordinate 10 people though, because every other rev will be going in the opposite direction.) It's kind of confusing when I write it down, but I would like to get the chance to lead this with severall people (mabye iQuad )
  7. When do I fly? *input evil crazy laugh here* Since school started, I've flown almost every day. After school, I go to the park across the street and get out my vented B-Series, std 1.5 (both with anywhere from race rods to 4 wrap) and my rev Indoor, if the wind is totally FLAT. If it's raining but there's wind, I bring a hood. If it's raining, there's no wind, there's lightening, thunder, and falling animals, I go fly in my school gym. Am I addicted? Nope I'm reving up Spokane WA!!!!!
  8. do you mean a non-vented B-Series?
  9. Sweet Tristan, you finally got one? Be sure to post some video or pictures!
  10. The spars from the EXP (the EXP comes with all 3 wrap) and Rev I are different, so don't try to mix and match. It would be ideal to get a full set (all five). But you can mix and match different spars in different places. For example, the center of the LE has the most stress, so you would have a stronger spar there, weaker spars on the ends of the LE, then even weaker for the down spars. I would suggest ordering these spars from The Kite Shoppe (www.thekiteshoppe.com) or streight from rev (www.revkites.com). PS. if you have time to wait, instead of getting a 2 wrap frame, rev should be coming out with race rods for the Rev 1. In case you are unfamiliar withrace rods, basically, they are lighter and stronger than a 2 wrap. I have a set for my 1.5 and B-Series, and they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. that's strange. I've never had this problem before, I would suggest calling again tomorrow.
  14. Is there something wrong with that link? I couldn't get through. The page that came up was a forum page but it said: The error returned was: Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available.
  15. The rev indoor strikes again!!!! Yesterday, I was indoor flying at a school gym (My mom is the vice principal) and out of no where one of the spars in the LE cracked. I went to look at it and then end of the spar was cracked severall times on the side that was connected in the center. I took the spar and taped up the broken end and put it back in as a down spar. The spar that replaced it then had the same thing happen to it moments later. once again I taped it up and replaced it as a down spar. This time I took my two unbroaken spars and taped up the end that connected to the center, and it didn't happen again. The kite still flies fine, but.....

I'll be going to more next year.
  17. That's because after you clicked on the "addreply" button, there are a bunch of little things with check boxes further down on the page. You may have accidentally clicked on the heart.

Well, I've got a year to think about it!

It was my first time flying team as well. Next year the fest will start on the 18th. I'll be competing in the masters multiline comps next year (It doesn't feel right staying in experienced after a first place). I wonder how I'll do!
  20. This sounds like a duel line to me. if so, when the kite is spinning in one direction, just pull with the other hand to make it spin the opposite way.
  21. I was watching the movie "The Shooter" and at the part when the main character guy first gets to DC, in a few minutes, there's what looks like a Quantum Pro flying in the background!

Hay Steve! That fest was a blast. Can't wait till next year!
  23. For the best results for an order like this, you may want to call Revolution (www.revkites.com) and order directly. But once again, many people are at festivals. Both Ben and Lolly are at WSIKF.
  24. I usually keep my hands near the top of the foam, with my thumbs on the plastic at the top. If I feel like I want a little more break (and I'm too lazy to move the line back a notch) I bring my hands down a bit. Reverse flight is touchy. I would recommend practicing your side and inverted hover first.
