Woo Hoo, it sounds good. I do remember, especially the yummy coffee! Great, my UFO has a few saftey pins in it. Still works fantastic. I'll have to be doing some sewing before next week. We probably won't come in till Sat. A.M. Lolly is sending a UFO and some quad handles! Bless that child! "Here Again, Gone Again, Ugly Wind" That's what we call the wind that comes and goes. I get asked to fly at small fields with trees all around. The wind comes in to the circle and says.. Where do I go? swirls Yuk! Not everyone watching understands this. lol It's good if you give an educational announcement before you fly. Still, practice in every wind, non wind, here again, gone again ugly wind that you can. It will make a better flyer of you. (Or maybe your not as fanatical as some of us?) I wish I could do things the easy way, but that's not me. Reading about it adjustments helps a little though it's best if you try those adjustments on your kite slowly, and make sure the beginning is marked! Different people will adjust their kite differently to fit their fly style. That's why the experience of what works for you is best. Over the years we've met more then a few people who's kite was just fine, but the wind was not enough for a beginner. Unless your looking to fly no-wind now, I'd suggest a steady 2 mph at the ocean... or at least an ugly 5 mph inland for beginner kite flyers. But that's 4 string thing. Happy 2006! Penny

You know that is something I don't have is a Rev. I indoor. I have a Rev. I outdoor. I just haven't flown them in a while. I hold them in much reverence and pull them out about tiwice a year... well, more then that since one is my signature kite. I'm getting quad handles for the UFO..... I can't wait! How did you modify your 1.5 to your liking? BB Penny

Missing in the mail. ouch! But what do you mean you don't like 1.5's? How can you not like 1.5's.? Indoor. outdoor, dog stake.. quick, slow with a great flow.... How can you not like 1.5's? Of course, when I'm flying inside, I feel like it's the best place to fly by far.. Then I fly outside and realize this is the best place to fly too... I hope you get your Rev I back soon. They are durable, but not indestructible. (Words of experience) I'm hard on kites too.. but worth it. Try your 1.5 again and see if it doesn't stir up some good old feelings. I've been working on one handed Revolution kite flying still. Easy, fun, and infinitely challenging! You can fly that indoor Revolution one-handed in a low 360. You should also be able to fly it one-handed up and down on tip in an overhead arc. Though come to think of it, the Indoor Rev does not fly as well as the Rev. 1.5 in a quick tip tracking, or I think I need a lighter touch? I'm pulling it out to easy or it fights me. Most days they fly great... today it felt like a mac truck. That's on fast mode. with the one-handed handle. I've got to push those handles so to direct that kite in every direction, every time. Do I need to move myself forward more? I like a fast track across. The one-handed handles they do a great Rev on tip 360 around your body, pretty low while you stand in one spot. I've been playing with the one- handed handles, but I decided, I better play with everything else. Rev. 1.5, UFO. etc. So it was an Indoor Revolution with regular indoor handles yesterday. The lines were to short, the music, Tangerin Dreams, not the write music for it that day. I need to put longer lines on the one handed handles, or.. stack the indoors. Cept I' think I'm a spar short of a stack. lol be kind you guys. I better go pack for tomorrows fly. There's an indoor Fly in Jan, Feb. and March with other people. Arlington, OR, Long Beach, WA and Lincoln City, OR. woo hoo! We need to do something in Seattle,too. Happy Holidays! BB Penny

I'm having trouble with making a routine with my costume.. And I need single handles with a little shorter grasp in between. I won't need the swivel in the handles if I can use the pressure from my hands. on the ends without having to move my handles up and down the handle so much. Hey again Arnold. I think you flew the Rev. indoor. If it was the black and gold and looked like a rev. If you flew the multi colored orange and green old deco one ... that Lolly keeps telling me to throw away... Well that is a 1.5 with light spars in it. If you have rev.'s you can use light spars. It is much more difficult then learning the infoor, but lots of fun! I like the wren, but I'm not an avid dual liner. I have one of Lam's indoors, I should have brought it. Seriously. I think his kites can do things the others can't.... or is it the pilot? BB Penny

Janola, I'll try to look on a can of it this weekend and get that info. Yes, you can scrunch the kite up and paint it. You can play with it in water and it's good, too. Some of my kites have become like the horse of a different color. I add or change the colors as needed. Probably not the best idea, but necessary for me. BB Penny

As loong as I'm only piciking pixels I should be ok. lol Hey, I'm managing to get to the gym everyday at least once. I've been practicing with the one handed handles. It's such a hassle when the handles get squished and I have to bend them back to what I need. It was a fantastic fly last night, but I wasn't liking the reverse on the indoor. Once in a while we play "anything you can do I can do better" best out of 3 attempts. Copy Cat... one person do a move, the second person do the move and add a move, the third person does both moves, adds, etc. Stuff like that? BB Penny

Craft Master spray paint in the crafts department. Craft master design. Usually it's in the floral section. I have white kites coming from Lolly, so I can paint those. Love those painted kites!!! Carl is right that painting over a factory kite is not as good, however, the majority of my paint jobs are over old colors. The black and red rev is the most popular color, but not girly enough for me. So I painted it. I like it, however it is darker in the sky then I wish. I'd just start ordering white kites. The options are limitless with them. BB Penny
