    That would be so sweet... I've seen mini-codys worthy of Sotich's micro world, and they seem to be darn good fliers with tissue and wood. 1/2 ounce fabric or less, carbon wisker stock... Maybe a 1 to 3 foot wingspan? I know I'd like one at some point!

    I have been a Portland resident for the last 4 years or so, but learned the ropes of a sport kite while living in Berkeley CA circa 1993 and earlier. I'll try both AOK and GWTW, hopefully someone's headed my way. Thanks Rick!

    If anyone is headed to WSIKF in Long Beach Washington and will be passing through Portland Oregon, I would love to split gas costs to get there... I do have lodging already arranged for myself.

    No worries Andrew, it just a matter of keeping things tidy as we go along rather than a ton of clean up later... I'll go ahead and pull your other one. I have no transpo to Ocean Shores... My next event is NWSKC in Long Beach, then I'm scheduled to attend Brookings, Berkeley, perhaps WSIKF, Whidbey Island, Louis and Clark in Seaside, AKA Nationals, and the KTAI Convention in Primm Nevada. May have missed a couple, but those are the main ones that I recall at the moment.

    Sorry, no pics... I did a web search, to no avail. It closely resembled two Peter Powell diamond kites... Imagine two, one on the right and one on the left... Then overlap the nearest corners slightly. Not very efficient, but a design all on it's own.

    I love the Shiva myself... Primarily the standard, and their vented is best I've flown for my style. Hey Andrew! What happened to your other forum user name? If anyone ever has a problem getting in, it really is easier for us here at Kitelife to just have the forum send you your password or drop me a line directly so I can fix it instead of having several different ones built into the database. Ya'll know me, I'm Johnny on the spot and always happy to help.

    Thanks to some fine motivation from Traveller, I have remedied the upload issues we were having... Now the only restrictions are size and dimension, described on any page which you might attempt this. Thank you very much for your patience!

    An amendment... Anyone who is an established forum user and known by other members can send me a note asking for doHTML abilities. Example with horizontal rule: <dohtml><hr></dohtml> This is a controlled feature... Less scrupulous visitors can use it to disseminate malicious code and possibly affect the forum adversely, but only on purpose.
