1. And the random winners are... Subscriber #40 - "Burner" Bob Walters Collectible Chinese Kites Subscriber #21 - Shane Hill AKA Convention DVD I'll be in touch with you guys shortly for shipping addresses, thank you very much for your help in making Kitelife one of the finest kiting resources in the world!
2. Wow, Rick Talbott and Steve O'Brien on at the same time... I am like, so honored I could pee my pants! I hope to see both of you in Brookings... Or at WSIKF, as it will be my first ever! Cheers and hugs!
3. Hehehe... Too cool. What a piece of history! For those that don't know, the FireDart was one of the most popular kites in the early days... And was featured quite heavily in many issues of Stunt Kite Quarterly over the years.
4. Hey wait... One of those Revs (red, white, black) is missing the venting along the leading edge, correct? I imagine that makes it kind of wierd on the reverse without being able to dump off the wind?
5. Nice pics Serge! I take it one of them made those for their own use? I've never seen those graphics before, almost reminds me of the Decorators!
6. Very cool Penny! Definitely good material... I've passed this on to my Assistant Editor, we'll take a look at it for an upcoming issue.
7. You and I both Monkey Boy... You and I both.
8. Thanks for your patience while we changed server hardware over the last 2-4 hours, we're working on adding more functionality and services to our hosting abilities.
9. Two Revs and a camera... I'd pay to see that one Penny. Next in Kitelife: Lingenfelter sprouts a third hand!
10. And here are my own babies... Custom Rev I's, soaking up some sun with my Shivas. Note my trademark white, light blue, dark blue and black theme.
11. Check this bad boy out... The guy in the pic is Al Stroh from San Diego, he says this one is an original final prototype, complete with certificate of authenticity..
12. That would be so sweet... I've seen mini-codys worthy of Sotich's micro world, and they seem to be darn good fliers with tissue and wood. 1/2 ounce fabric or less, carbon wisker stock... Maybe a 1 to 3 foot wingspan? I know I'd like one at some point!
13. Hehehe... I knew that Emoticon would come in handy, just didn't expect it so soon.
14. And, last but not least...
15. In an effort to help our visitors express themselves and display information to the best of their ability, you can now center text in your postings... Two ways to do it: 1 - Just click the center button, type in your text to be centered. 2 - Use the actual tags like this: text Example: CENTERED TEXT
16. Enjoy these new ways to add "emotion" to your posts...
17. Any word on how many Octopus they managed to get up in Wildwood? I know they were trying to break the record... Just curious.
18. I have been a Portland resident for the last 4 years or so, but learned the ropes of a sport kite while living in Berkeley CA circa 1993 and earlier. I'll try both AOK and GWTW, hopefully someone's headed my way. Thanks Rick!
19. If anyone is headed to WSIKF in Long Beach Washington and will be passing through Portland Oregon, I would love to split gas costs to get there... I do have lodging already arranged for myself.
20. No worries Andrew, it just a matter of keeping things tidy as we go along rather than a ton of clean up later... I'll go ahead and pull your other one. I have no transpo to Ocean Shores... My next event is NWSKC in Long Beach, then I'm scheduled to attend Brookings, Berkeley, perhaps WSIKF, Whidbey Island, Louis and Clark in Seaside, AKA Nationals, and the KTAI Convention in Primm Nevada. May have missed a couple, but those are the main ones that I recall at the moment.

22. An enviable stack indeed!
23. Thanks for the fond birthday wishes guys! Now, how to hook up some rocket boosters to this brand new walker... Here's to the best 14 years of my life, and many more yet to come.
24. Sorry, no pics... I did a web search, to no avail. It closely resembled two Peter Powell diamond kites... Imagine two, one on the right and one on the left... Then overlap the nearest corners slightly. Not very efficient, but a design all on it's own.
25. Well guys, it's my birthday today... A ripe old 29. I look forward to a few b-day spankings as the year goes on!
