Oh yes.
Moving with the pressure of other lines on yours can be a bit disorienting at first, but, you do get used to it, as I'm sure you found. And Ant? It won't take long. The key I find is to try and avoid thinking about it and simply keep your eyes locked onto your own kite.
Two other key moves that get used a lot in team flying :
1] 180 degree turns, in place, ie, a complete change of direction.
2] Tip pivots up, and down, ie, a leading edge forward half circle either down or up, approx the height of the rev you will be replacing in the line.
