  1. Congrats with the wife, always nice to share in the fun.
  2. Dark side with cookies and milk, but more precise? I'm gonna laugh myself all the way to bed.
  3. Sorry Bill, won't be there... 9/5, will just have come back from Crescent City, CA for the Windchasers Labor Day fly... Then off to Milwaukee, WI the following weekend for another event. NO WSIKF??? *gasp* How about AKA Nationals in Ocean Shores, October 1-7? iQuad will be giving a workshop on Rev Team Flying there.
  4. Yes, sure does! I'd really love to add a feature like that too. *pout*
  5. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way. Spirit, roughly a $120 value! You can sign up here. Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/284, and will be drawn on September 5th, 2007! http://www.kitelife.com/prizes/spirit55/index.htm Our thanks, and the very best to you... Let the drooling begin!
  6. Good catch Kris, my only concern... It's yet another database that will eventually be out of date, need upgrading, and possibly become corrupt (crash). If I had a few more savvy admins working for me on the site, it wouldn't be such a concern... But, well, you know.
  7. No such extensions available... Would still have to make new topics for each article.
  8. Out standing in our field. *chuckle*
  9. Are you set up on IM? I think we should chat more, live.
  10. Watty... Have you ever worked with HTML coding, or semi-large sites?
  11. I'd tried this more than a year ago, and didn't get much response at all... I was disappointed, to say the least. The other thing that ends up happening, is a whole bunch of empty threads for articles when they aren't replied to. My biggest issue is that all actual site creation, changes, maintenance, etc is 100% done by yours truly... Plus all the other sites I manage for others. If someone was interested in an unpaid position with Kitelife, handling little things, I might reconsider.
  12. You know Kris, this is an AWESOME suggestion... Something I'd considered before. Problem is, Kitelife Magazine is done in static HTML... To do something like this, I'd have to convert everything into dynamic (database-driven). Aside from the work involved, that in itself isn't so bad... But, you can't break static pages... Databases always run the chance of going wonky. So, duly noted... Agreed... But... Not this time around. I've got a lot of other stuff that needs doing "around the house" at Kitelife, but I just don't have the time.
  13. The paneling is more extensive than the EXP, and the quality of fabric is better... You can feel the difference in cost when you fly.
  14. Nice pics.
  15. Missed you on Sunday Leigh, take care of that sunburn.
  16. A lot of shops will also SWAP the EXP leading edge (3 wrap) in place of the thicker spar upon request. I highly recommend this, as the SLE spar makes the kite less controllable.
  17. I understand. Whenever you manage to wrangle one up, or before, we'll be happy to help with any questions at all.
  18. Awesome, glad to hear you and the family enjoyed it. Sure wish we had video of our routines and/or sessions on Sunday. Did you go home with a Rev?
  19. Come try the B-Series, on the Rev field... iQuad will be spending some time teaching today.
  20. iQuad had a blast... Did at least 2 team demos each day, plus individuals, and a Rev mega fly at the end of each day. We actually had 11 Revs up on Sunday, even on that small field!
  21. Drum roll please... The winner of this great prize is: Charlie Thompson - Subscriber #351 Congratulations Charlie! Our new prize(s) will be announced within 24 hours.
  22. I like both, but greatly prefer Revs.
  23. Due respect, I'm going to lock this thread... It seems experiences have been shared, and enough has been said. If you have a separate experience worthy of mention, with Bestkites or anyone else, please open a new thread. No harm, no foul... Just moving us on to new stuff. Cheers.
  24. All Japan Sport Kite Association http://www.ajska.gr.jp/ More than a few events, lots of fliers, especially Revolutions.
  25. This is our first show... There are pics from our practice in France, didn't you read that issue of Kitelife? http://www.kitelife.com/archives/issue53/redbull53/index.htm
