Get the mid vent it will easily fill the gap. It can be used below and above the range of a B series mid vent due to slightly Less venting on the low range and into the vented range due to the bridle congratulation. Just my 2 cents I’m sure others will chime in. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
It’s Bolstad Avenue and we normally stay at the Ocean View Inn right off the beach on Bolstad. Can’t make it to the Mega fly clinic but will be in Lincoln City for the Festival. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
If you can find a duel line clinic like JB put on last year it will shorten the learning process tremendously. Or find a festival to attend and start talking with the flyers. Most of them are happy to give pointers and love to talk with fellow fliers. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Welcome to the forum. A lot of excellent fliers in the PNW my family relocated to Coos Bay Oregon last year and love it. Mega Fly clinic this weekend in Long Beach WA and a lot of festivals to check out all year long. If your ever near Coos Bay my son and I love to fly and always welcome others. Several flyers will be in the area participating at an indoor fly that weekend. I’m sure a few will make it down to D river entrance to fly outside. Haven’t made up my mind if my family is going or not. Mega fly clinic the weekend before taking place in Long Beach WA. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Haven’t tried with my Y2K illusion I tend to take it easy on that kite and my UL or SUL. Cheaper kites are for beating up. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Some kites can be popped just right to catch wind to take beck off. Others turn kite to look down one edge and dig nose in to flip kite, I’ve only got it to work in dry sand. More often than not RobB you called it. Start walking. [emoji28] Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Agree with Wayne! Watch it and remember the steps and follow it religiously. Couple times I almost gave up on quad line kites because of the time spent on untangling my lines. Practice Johns technique and have fun. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Another option could be a Three Winds Quad from The Kite Shoppe. Pretty sure they are about $200 and you can customize the colors using Kite Paint. We see several of these flying up here in the Pacific NW. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Wow Breezin you’ve came along ways in a year in your ability and equipment. Love reading your posts. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
